Jim Parker Builders in a turn-key builder from obtaining building permits to having the home clean and ready to move into. The average time factor for building your dream home ranges from five months to ten months depending on size and overall design criteria. Save Energy to Save Money
- Keep furnace at 68° during the day and 55° at night. Set air conditioner at 78° when you're home, 85° when you're not.
- Turn off (or down) all unnecessary appliances when you're on vacation - water heater, air conditioner, furnace, and pool, spa, or waterbed heaters.
- Replace incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescents.
- Wash full loads of clothes and dishes. Let clothes and dishes air dry.

Alliance Windows Tax Credit
As of 4/15/09, the following Alliance Vinyl Window products are being manufactured to meet the qualifications required by the Energy Tax Credit:

- Windgate/Belmont/Hawthorne - Patio Door - With Grids
Remember that Belmont and Hawthorne are replacement windows. Windgate are new construction. these products are only eligible when ordered with low-e insulated glass.
Tax Credit Reminders
- Tax credits are available at 30% of the cost, up to $1500, in 2009 and 2010 (for existing homes only) for windows & doors, insulation, roofs (metal and asphalt), HVAC, water heaters, and biomass stoves. Installation costs are not covered for windows, doors, insulation or roofing.
- Tax credits are available at 30% of the cost, with no upper limit through 2016 (for existing homes & new construction) for geothermal heat pumps, solar panels, solar water heaters, small wind energy systems, and fuel cells.
- If you are building a new home, you can qualify for the tax credit for geothermal heat pumps, photovoltaics, solar water heaters, small wind energy systems and fuel cells, but not the tax credits for windows, doors, insulation, roofs, HVAC, or non-solar water heaters. Now is the time to remodel!
